~A Collection of Samplers & New Year Wishes~

I thought it would be fun to share some of the cross stitched samplers that I have made this year. Unfortunately, I did not take pictures of all of the samplers I have made. This is just a small sampling of them.

I started cross stitching in August. I had never really cross stitched before. I did make two little ornaments when I was in junior high that were cross stitched, but that was it.

All of my samplers are original. They are hand drawn by me on graph paper and then stitched. I then tea stain my samplers to give them an aged look. Just looking at the few pictures I have taken, I can see that I have gotten better with each sampler. I guess that is true of anything we do. The more we do, the better we get.

Most of my samplers have been made as gifts so I only have a few for myself. I keep saying I am going to make some for me, but I haven't done it yet. Take a look at my samplers and let me know what you think.
