~Raise the Curtain~

If you remember, I told you a couple of weeks ago that my mom was making curtains for me. Well, she just finished the curtains for the dining room and the music room. I love how they turned out so I thought I would let you all take a peek.

The fabric is a golden yellow pillow ticking stripe. I chose this color to bring in the cornucopia trim color that is in the other rooms.

I will use this fabric in every room that has the kiln trim color. In the rooms that have the cornucopia or mariner color the fabric will be a brown red pillow ticking stripe. The style of the curtains will be the same.

I cannot wait to get the other curtains! I think it will complete the whole look.

It is so nice to have a mom as talented as mine. She is doing a beautiful job and I can never thank her enough for all of her hard work.

Let me know what you think.

Thank you for visiting Yesterday Once More. I appreciate you stopping by and I hope you will come back as often as you can. Dan, your Mom has done a wonderful job. Your home is so beautiful, very warm and welcoming! May I ask where you found the ticking stripe fabric in different colors? Here I can only find the traditional blue/white or red/cream.

Dan~ LOVE the curtains!! They look wonderful on your windows. Your mom has done a remarkable job. I wanted to do that style of curtain in my home but we get too much sunlight. It was going to ruin my JB upholstery. Give us a close up of your fabric choices. Your colors are wonderful. What are you going to do when you get every last detail done???? You know you can't sit still!! LOL! Keep those pics coming...you know how much we love them!

Wow, beautiful! They are a perfect fit for your windows! My mom has made me curtains in the past and I might just have to ask her for more, prim style this time! Curtains are one thing that we are just now getting around to in our home, and we've been here 3 years! lol. Some windows just have those bamboo type of roll-up blind, but curtains make a room so much cozier I think.

Dan,
I have followed your site for many months and I really enjoy seeing your beautiful home. I am trying to track down the Home Depot rugs you have throughout your home with no luck. Do you have a name or at least a maker of the rugs? I would love a 9X11 for our family room. Thanks so much,
Vanessa
