I got the chair at a shop called The Olde' Homestead. It is located in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. It is a great primitive/Colonial shop. If you live anywhere near Mt. Vernon, you should go. They have a lot of wonderful items and they are so nice.
I had a stool with black legs that I am using as a footstool. I placed a sampler pillow in the chair and put a basket on the floor by the chair. Never mind the record player. I have not found a place for it since we painted.
Here is a close up of the fabric. I just love it! What do you think?
Thank you for visiting Yesterday Once More. I really appreciate you stopping by and I hope you will come back as often as you can. Always remember, "A stumble may prevent a fall."
All My Best,

Hi Dan,
I love your new chair. I have been looking for one very similar to go with my new, "used" love seat. I live in Illinois as well, but will have to see where Mt Vernon is from me. What are the approximate prices of those chairs? Please stop my and enter my giveaway!

I love your new chair, Dan! The print is wonderful and it looks great in your music room. We went through Mt. Vernon on our trip last fall and I wanted to go to the Olde Homestead, but they were closed that day. :-( I hope I can get back there sometime.
Oh, and I've been meaning to tell you this. On that same trip, we went to an antique mall, (can't remember the name or town) that had a poster of your CS photos! I'm sure you know the place. I thought that was really awesome!
Love the chair. The print is beautiful!!!

Dan, SO LOVE YOUR CHAIR!!! OLM
Dan I love the chair! I have been looking for new chairs for about five years now and just can't find any that aren't too expensive and ones that are comfortable! What a task it has turned out to be!! My husband and I went about four years ago to a town called Sandwich, Illinois. Had a wonderful time and even brought home swatches of material, but $1500 per chair was a bit more than I wanted to spend. John was ok with me ordering them right a way!! What a great man. Anyway, I will be at the antique show in Arcola! Hope to see you there and if this shop is anywhere near Arcola, I'll be checking it out too!! Maybe a should bring a u-haul? LOl. Jax(CS forum)
