~Jeff Bought Me a Saltbox!~

I thought that might get your attention!

We went to a local craft store last night and I was walking around and spotted this saltbox house.

You guys know how much I love saltboxes! Jeff saw me looking at it and he wanted to buy it for me. I told him no several times, but he insisted. That is the kind of guy he is. If he thinks I want something, he is not happy until he gets it for me.

I do love it. It was made by a group of women. I have several of their buildings. I have a barn, a school, a wash house, and two other houses. They are all wonderful!

For now, I have placed it in the music room. I am not sure if it will stay there or not. I really like it and I cannot thank Jeff enough for buying it for me. It will serve as a wonderful reminder of my dream to one day live in a saltbox of my own.

"Where is home? Home is where the heart can laugh without shyness. Home is where the heart's tears can dry at their own pace."

Thank you for visiting Yesterday Once More. I appreciate you stopping by and I hope you will come back as often as you can.

All My Best,
~Dan~

I love the saltbox. I have been admiring those for some time now, but haven't purchased any. That one is especially nice. And has a nice memory attached to it now, too.:)
I'll have to go back through your pictures to try to spot the others. Thanks for sharing!

Just wonderful, Dan. You got a keeper there for sure with Jeff. You have enough buildings to make a village scene sometime...it would be lovely at Christmastime with lights etc. Have a wonderful weekend!

That was so sweet of him! The house looks great where you've put it, but it will be one of those things that you'll be able to move all around and it will look good anywhere. I've still been busy working on the basement, finally picked out the cupboards and have ordered them...can hardly wait to get them installed. I'll send pics soon. Take care! Janice

Love the Salt Box where you have it but like one of the girls said it is something you can move whenever you want to brighten your mood wherever you put it and remind you of how blessed you are to have such a great partner!!

You'll have that Salt Box House someday..that's what makes dreams so wonderful..we get to make them come true!!

Have a Great Weekend!!

OK, for a second I thought Jeff bought you a life size house. That one is very cute though. Jeff is a keeper! BTW, what are the brown stoneware crock things beside it? I have one of those, but not sure what you call them.
