Well, the suspense is finally over! The mailman finally delivered the last item and we installed them today. We installed dummy strap hinges on our front door. I think they look really good and pulled everything together even more. What do you think?
The shutter hinges and s hooks come from here. The door strap hinges came from here.

The door is metal. We drilled pilot holes with a drill and the strap hooks came with screws to attach them to the door.

It's amazing how much character those hinges add. Wow! Don't you just love red doors? My husband mentioned painting ours black and I shot that down extremely quick! It will always be a red door as long as I live here. Hehe!
