Finally...The Mailman Came!!!

Well, the suspense is finally over! The mailman finally delivered the last item and we installed them today. We installed dummy strap hinges on our front door. I think they look really good and pulled everything together even more. What do you think?

The shutter hinges and s hooks come from here. The door strap hinges came from here.

Thank you for visiting Yesterday Once More! I appreciate you stopping by and hope that you will come back as often as you can. Always remember we never regret the things we did...we regret the things we didn't do. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

My Best to You Always,

I really like them on the door. They look great. Thanks for info where they came from. They are what I was looking for awhile back when I posted my kitchen closet door redo.

love the look Dan! Is the door metal or wooden? How are they installed if it's metal?
Thanks. patti

The door is metal. We drilled pilot holes with a drill and the strap hooks came with screws to attach them to the door.

The new strap hinges on your front door looks really great Dan! The ones on your shutters are pretty too, and tie in nicely with the ones on your door. Your home is very pretty, both on the inside and out! You and Jeff have done a beautiful job on everything!

The hinges look great, Dan. What is the saying? Every room needs a little black, well your porch benefits from it too. Enjoy your bloggy break!

It's amazing how much character those hinges add. Wow! Don't you just love red doors? My husband mentioned painting ours black and I shot that down extremely quick! It will always be a red door as long as I live here. Hehe!
