Christmas in July!

Hey Everyone!

First, I wanted to thank all of you for your prayers. I am overwhelmed by all of your support. I have a real sense of peace about the new house. Please continue to pray that God will lead us in the right direction. Please pray that God gives me patience and that I do not obsess too much. Thank you again for all your prayers...you are all wonderful! If anything changes, I will let you know as soon as I can.

It has been so hot here this summer that I thought I would try to cool things off. I thought it would be fun to have a Christmas in July party. So, grab your coat, hat, gloves, and scarf. Christmas has arrived early at Yesterday Once More and it is chilly. While you are trying to warm up, I hope you enjoy looking at some of our Christmas decorations.

I don't know about you, but I am certainly cooler now...LOL!

Thank you for visiting Yesterday Once More. I appreciate you stopping by and I hope that you will continue to come back as often as you can. Never forget...the greatest prayer is patience.

All My Best,
~Dan~

What an awesome post, it has been in the 90's here in PA and my poor son is in Army basic training in GA where the heat index has been around 110:( Your trees are gorgeous and I do feel a bit cooler;)

Hi Dan,

I will indeed pray for those things for you as I know I would be obsessing about it big time. I pray you do have the patience and everything falls into place. I pulled out my folder of favorite houses from old issues of magazines and sure enought, it is the house I thought it was. I then found the home online and saw how neglected it looks and it so needs your tender loving care.

I loved your Christmas in July party! I could use a little of the cold crisp air right now! Thanks for those pretty pictures!

Stay cool!

Good Morning Dan My Friend...
I am so over the top thrilled for you and Jeff. Your home is so gorgeous believe me it will sell. You will have no problems and you will be in your new home in time for the holidays. I will be adding this to my prayers. I can so see why you fell in love with it. What a beautiful home it is. My gosh it is so huge, the critters will get lost in there. I love it.

Now, home for the holidays with you. It is just beautiful. I love the center island. That just says fun. The tree in the crock, how cute is that. I love it. I love the use of the old cookie cutters, and the Santa beside it is over the top country. I love that Santa. What a creative idea Dan. Your mind must never sleep.

I see in one picture you collect rolling pins, and I love the old ladder hung above the doorway. That is just beautiful.

Oh my friend you two, are going to have a wonderful holiday this year in your new home. Just wait and see. I am adding you to my prayer list. God will lead you in the right direction, and he will lead someone to your home for purchase. Good comes to those who wait. Keep us posted sweet friend.

I see the critters are happy. I love Parkers little sunsuit. It is precious. How is that Paycee doing? Growing like a weed I am sure.

Country hugs sweet friend...Sherry

brrr...get me a sweater, please!

I had a Christmas in July gift swap with my 2 besties last week. It was "only" 93 degrees out, and they live right along the Atlantic in Mass.! It has been a horrific Summer, and I am so looking forward to Fall. But, my Grammie always told me not to wish my life away...hmm.... Maybe just the humid parts??

All the best, Dan, to you and Jeff with the house. You will know if it is right or not and then decide...

I needed that in this summer heat, Dan! And wow! I know I've been out of the blogging loop for awhile being busy with Luke and all, but wow on the salt box house! I'll be praying for the right decision for ya'll too! You're right for not wanting it if it's not God's will! It's all the sweeter when you're you're in the center of His will!

Loved your Christmas pics!

Have a great week, Dan!
