Spring

"Springtime is the land awakening. The March winds are the morning yawn." ~Lewis Grizzard~

Remember this...

It has turned into this...

There is nothing more beautiful than new grass. The grass never seems so green as it does when it first comes back to life. Nothing reminds us of life more than the coming back to life of our yards in the spring. Let this be a reminder to all of us that just when you think you can not take anymore spring comes and life is full of the joy of new life.

I hope spring has sprung in your neck of the woods. Breathe in the fresh air, sit back, and enjoy. You deserve a break today.

My Best to You Always,
~Dan~

Dear Dan, It's Elizabeth of Creative Breathing. I happened to notice your photo button on my Followers badge and just had to find out who is this second man that has come to my girly blog. My first is William of "Poop and Boogies" who I just adore and who is a most incredible writer. You have a very interesting and thought provoking blog. I love to look at everyday things in a new way, and your home is filled with items that tell stories. A movie post right up front grabbed my attention. I am a movie buff from the beginning! I like you already because you have Cary Grant as THE movie star of all times. He is in his own category along with George Clooney. Sorry, I could go on and on about the subject of movies. Well, anyway. My curiosity is satisfied. Inspiration found here. A lovely place to visit again. Elizabeth

The "Spring Awakening" (sorry had to say that - saw that play in NY a few years ago and this weekend saw the ABC daytime show and they performed a song from that play! LOL) is happening here in Eastern PA too - Just love when things get that bright almost unnatural color of green! Enjoy your Spring!

I am enjoying the beautiful green grass too! We've had some really awesome weather here lately but today is going to be chilly & rainy but that's ok because that's what makes that grass so green & pretty! Have a great day=)

We are seeing green here in southeast Missouri too. Wendell was commenting that he is going to have to break out the mower soon. I love the spring. I am anxiously awaiting the rhubarb and asparagus which I know isn't too far away.

Hope your having a wonderful week!
*hugs*

It's getting warmer. All of the 12" of snow is melted from this past weekend and now we are getting a deluge of rain; but, my pansies and jonquils are blooming and my tulips and irises are on their way.

HURRAY!!

Have a great day!!

Spring is here but my grass is so far off from the beautiful green of yours! Here in Idaho we still have lots of snow in the high country and cold temps at night. I know it will come, I just have to be patient! Thank you for the lovely reminder of taking a break and breathing it all in.
~Blessings to you and yours.

We are getting some signs of spring and I am so hopeful, but then they tell us we are going to have a snow chance this weekend. Winter just does not want to give up in my area.
I am so wanting to get out and dig in the dirt.
Thanks for the beautiful photos.

I am loving hearing of your warm weather and new grass coming to life again! Here way up north, we had -6 with wind chill last night but at least the snow is gone and the sun is shining! I think the only green grass we will see for awhile yet is in our Easter baskets..LOL. I am anxiously awaiting my tulips and those ol' daffydills to peek out. Don't you just love spring time, it is such a hopeful & wonderous time of the year with it's new beginnings. Hoping a fabulous spring and an even greater summer for us all!
